It took me six years between the first and the last day I tried this ultra resistant and steep route to do it. In the gorges du Loup near Nice, I tried Total Eclatch for the first time in 2003 (it was 8c at that time) just by curiosity and every summer I'd try it again to see if it was possible. Summer 2009 I finally sent this twenty move route after the crux hold broke during the winter, making the route 8c+ now. More to read in the blog.
